The Construction Manager will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while ensuring compliance with local codes and HSE regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead all phases of civil construction projects in Doha from initiation to handover.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure Project Manager Civil Gulf projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and compliance with approved plans.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise engineers, contractors, site teams, and subcontractors.
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Cost, Financial & Contract Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial progress reports.
  • Oversee cost estimation, quantity validation, and invoicing processes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.

Compliance, Quality & Safety

  • Ensure all Doha construction projects comply with engineering codes, specifications, and HSE standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections and review completed work for compliance with approved drawings.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular project progress reports, schedules, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, drawings, and project correspondence for all ABK Projects & Development careers.

Required Skills & Competencies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 12–20 years of experience as a Construction Manager – Civil
  • Proven experience managing large-scale civil and commercial projects in the Middle East / Gulf
  • Main contractor experience preferred
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • PDA certification and valid driving license are advantages

Technical Skills

  • Project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Engineering drawings interpretation, QA/QC, and HSE compliance
  • Familiarity with construction and project management software
